  1. Haxorus

Mold Breaker is more reliable - Ferrothorn's Iron Barbs won't be hurting you, and you can nail Rotom-W with Earthquake. However the Rivalry boost can be huge.
  2. Heatran

    Nitro Charge is fun
  3. Lucario

Is going mixed ever viable on a non-choice scarf set (or even on one)?
  4. Rotom-W

I've seen a few Rotom-W who run Hydro Pump Thunderbolt Sunny Day HP Fire Good pivot against weather teams, and enjoys Nattorei
  5. np: OU Suspect Testing Round 3 - So Long and Thanks for all the Fish

It kinda makes sense that Blaziken would go after Swift Swim + Drizzle - that combo comprised a fair number of his checks.
  6. Tyranitar

I'm surprised this thread isn't more active... Ttar is the ultimate Shandera counter, and is probably the most versatile poke in the metagame right now. It can be a lead with rocks, band, scarf, mixed, bulky, DD I'm going to be experimenting with some sets, if I find a good one I'll post it
  7. Dragonite

Recently got dominated by a Dragonite using the same set that Swift posted (I duno about the EV spread but the moves were the same) If you don't have a counter to that thing it's a real bitch to take down
  8. Alakazam

With SS up there's a chance to 2hko with SR, and if you have any layers of spikes up then you're pretty much sealing the deal.
  9. Salamence

It also hurts that choice users tend to hit and run a lot, and Mence is weak to SR. That said Specs is probably his best choice set simply because it is the least expected. Band is 100% outclassed by Chomp, Specs isn't outclassed by Latis completely because he gets Fire Blast, while they have...
  10. Salamence

I don't think Adamant is really a good option, due to the speed tier. Jolly either really, because it weakens Fire Blast, and without Fire Blast your coverage gets much worse (and let's face it - Fire Fang blows). Go Naive. I agree though Mixmence has been underwhelming. DD Mix or standard...
  11. Whimsicott

That still breaks a sub. You're right it isn't really that important, but it is important to note that Erufuun can basically only taunt Nattorei, while Nattorei actually has a way of dealing damage back. a) agreed b) ? whatever
  12. Whimsicott

Even with no investment to Erufuun's speed stat, Nattorei's Gyro Ball gets massive base power. Erufuun has base 116 speed, and even with no investment this drops him somewhere in the range of 270 speed, vs Nattorei's 40 (0 EVs, 0 IVs, Speed hindering nature which all Nattorei running Gyro Ball...
  13. Whimsicott

In response to you saying that Nattorei can't really do anything to Erufuun - Gyro Ball does massive damage unless you run Cotton Guard. It's not really a gamble against Togekiss or Urugamosu - sub up and see what they do. If they attack, gtfo. If they setup, encore. That said Urugamosu...
  14. Infernape

Blaziken should only have +1 (intimidate) against Gyara. BTW, I was assuming the bulky pokemon switches in as Blaziken / Infernape setup their +2. In this case Blaziken is going to get ohko'd by Slowbro after failing to ohko. Ape doesn't have that problem. If you run Shadow Claw then...
  15. Infernape

Hippowdon, Gliscor, Resttalk Gyarados, Bulky Dragonite (with multi scale he might survive a +2 nape hp ice though I'm not sure), Slowbro I haven't done any calculations but I don't think Blaziken can ohko Hippow or Gliscor with any of his moves even at +2. He definitely can't take out Resttalk...
