Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Xatu with the Sychronize ability and Psycho Shift seems pretty cool to use. He comes in on an expected status move and then Sychronize inflicts a first pokemon with the same status and then next turn or when they switch you can use Psycho Shift to get rid of your status and succesfully status...
Focus sash does indeed work on Shedinja. I run one in my uber team. I should know, I tested it myself and it does work.
That makes any super effective hit a 2HKO
What is better, a Ludicolo holding Leftovers with the ability Swift Swim? or a Ludicolo holding Damp Rock with the ability Rain Dish? Both will have this moveset:
Ludicolo @ Leftovers/ Damp Rock
Ability: Swift Swim/ Rain Dish
EVs: 206 HP/ 76 SpAtk/ 228 SpDef
~Rain Dance
~Surf
~Energy Ball...
What would be a good moveset for a physical wall Weezing that includes Explosion? I was thinking
Weezing @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 6 Atk
~Explosion
~Pain Split
~Will-o-Wisp
~Sludge Bomb/ Thunderbolt/ Fire Blast/ HP Ice

I just saw in the anylasis that curselax gets self-destruct. How does snorlax learn self-destruct? Its not a tutor move or an egg move unless i overlooked something.
Is refresh even all that useful? I see a handful of pokemon who learn it from XD but i think that its a worthless move. What pokemon can make use of that move? I have never seen any pokemon on wifi or the RMT subforum that uses the move refresh.
I am planning on using a Porygon2 as a special attacker in my Trick Room team. What would be a good moveset? Would this work?
Porygon2 @ Life Orb/ Leftovers
Quiet (Trace Ability)
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 SpAtk/ 6 SpDef
~Trick Room
~Tri-Attack
~Ice Beam
~Recover/ Thunderbolt
Would Recover be good for...
Moves that effect everyone in 2v2 have their power reduced to 75%
That includes Surf, Earthquake, Explosion, Etc. So those moves do 75% to everyone than what it would have done in Singles.
So zoom lens increases accuracy more? But only if i go last.
So a 55 acc. move will be 66 assuming that its 20% right?
While with wide lens that same move will be 60.5 acc?
I think im going with zoom lens because the pokemon im equipping it to isn't very fast anyway.
Could someone please confirm...
I thought that only Ninjask learned Baton Pass. Shedinja can't learn it. So some of those sets with Baton Pass can be done. Unless im missing something completly obvious, Shedinja cant learn BP.
I use a max speed Timid Roserade on my team. Sleep powder first, sunny day on the switch, sweep away with weather ball and solarbeam. However anything faster ruins me. Fire types completly counter me so when they do show up i switch to heatran.
My team is a sunny day team and roserade sets it up
