Oh, I see. Another question: since Porygon's only way to evolve is by trading, then... does the game generate that random (possible) trait number each time it's traded? I mean... you have to trade it twice to get your Porygon-Z.

Well, thanks for clarifying that up. All the male (edit: and genderless) monsters that had TM moves I bred with a Ditto, had these moves passed, so I think it works. At least now I know I shouldn't ever teach a non-buyable TM to a female pokemon.

So, level-up moves are only passed if they are learned while inside of the breeding center? And am I still doomed if I teach a TM to a female pokemon? x_x By the way, I did some more testing: - Female lvl 54 Venusaur from FR (Sludge Bomb, Frenzy Plant, Leech Seed, Sleep Powder) X Ditto: baby...

Okay, I did some tests in Emerald (involving breeding with Ditto), and found out that: - Male parent with TM moves will pass them to the offspring. - Genderless parent with TM moves will pass them to the offspring. - Female parent with TM moves will not pass them to the offspring. - Neither...
