Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
When using a smaller window size (One that overlays the moves/switches over the main battle window) the "Waiting for opponent [Cancel]" bar will show up below the battle window. On shorter screens than this, it can not be visible at all.

Cartoons! because it has the perfect balance of action. Doug's looks kind of like it's just standing there, still as a statue. ChaosCrippler's on the other hand, looks TOO much in action. It's just kind of flailing about the battle field. I probably would have liked it the best if it was facing...
Looks pretty good, but the shading on it's yellow marks kind of urks me. They're supposed to be bioluminescent, and if they are glowing it wouldn't make much sense for them to have shadows on them.
I voted for aragornbird, because his design was the one I liked 2nd best. I liked Keishinkae's design the best, but voting for him would be futile.
Plus this way aragornbird might be the winner over CyzirVisheen. No offense Cyzir! Your design just didn't appeal to me... mostly in the same way...
I'm not a very good battler, nor do I have much experience, so I haven't really experimented with sets yet, heh.
As far as I can tell, though, a novelty set is only novelty until you do good enough with it, people inevitably copy it, and then other people start to prepare for it. Of course...
