I don't think he's town, I just think it's a boon if he is, and nobody is going to make a shot on him later in the game from that capability alone

Absolutely and especially with two scum down, I don't see why we would be cautious. I'm not saying to fire blindly into a crowd, but gut feelings goes a long way and can certainly make the town less anxious when they matter much more.
