  1. Resource Don't Use That; Use This (ORAS Version)

Sturdy's nice too, I guess, but Iron Barbs is better in most situations. It's not like either of them wants to take a Fire Blast. :P
  2. Pokémon Sableye

I guess also lower confusion damage, but that's pretty situational, especially with Swagger being verboten.
  3. Pokémon Tentacruel

Yeah, like, it can still use Rapid Spin, at least, but it's still not going to be wowing anyone.
  4. Pokémon Tentacruel

Perhaps a stupid question, but is Giga Drain ever viable on Tentacruel? The healing on it would probably be nice, but I suppose 80 SpA on a 75 BP move with no STAB is probably not super, and I guess the coverage on it wouldn't be very good.
  5. Pokémon Serperior

A non-powder(so it can hit Grass) and not Electric(so it can hit ground and Electric-absorbing pokes like Sceptile) paralysis is nice, true, and Serperior can, sadly, EASILY find room for it on its moveset, so that's probably one of the better things it has going for it. That said, I'd still be...
  6. Ability Contrary Serperior

Leaf Storm that has a built in boost is of course pretty awesome, but does it get anything else that really benefits from that? I do want to root for it, since I have been glad to see Grass types become more relevant than they were at times in the past, but that also means a lot of potential...
  7. Pokémon Sharpedo

I know it's probably not really a huge difference maker in whether or not someone chose Poison Fang or Poison Jab, but something people seem to overlook is that they are comparing the poison damage plus the battle damage as if both were a given, completely overlooking the rather huge difference...
  8. Reuniclus

Wow, some of the more embarrassing temper tantrums I've seen on this forum, all on one topic. It's stunning. This is definitely one of the most interesting pokemon this generation. While some comparisons to Alakazam can be made, it's really sort of a Dragonite/Salamence situation, where they...
  9. Alakazam

I completely forgot about that. I was thinking that 'Zam was good with Magic Guard mainly for having a perfect Focus Band(since entry hazards don't hit, nor does Sand/Hail), so it'd be a great revenger, but the Life Orb without consequences is just scary.
  10. Scrafty

What, no slash for Sucker Punch? :naughty:
  11. Pinsir

Yeah, Arena Trap would have been pretty awesome, and not even broken, but alas. Moxie's alright, but I don't think he's packing enough punch to get the most out if it. I love Pinsir, but he's still kind of stuck in a rut.
  12. Venusaur

That's when he goes nuts and attacks the trainer. Or he fires a Leaf Storm into the announcing booth if this is on PBR or something.
  13. Hariyama

You also get freebie Life Orb boosts, don't you? Still, Thick Fat is just a really nice boost with no drawback, so it's not a total loss.
  14. Go, Speed Cloyster, Go! (vs Agammemnon)

I know, right? How often do we get to see that kind of peril?
  15. Go, Speed Cloyster, Go! (vs Agammemnon)

The commentary was pretty funny, and it being such a close ending made it genuinely exciting, but yeah, some big misplays. 7/10 would be a fair score, I'd think.
