Yea it seems they do learn rare moves so that could explain it.

Keep in mind the pastebin isn't complete yet. I've seen some Alpha Pokemon pull out moves I don't see on this list like Rapidash with Swift, High Horsepower and Giga Impact. though i wouldn't rule out the possibility alpha pokemon can learn moves that regular forms can't
