Smogon Premier League is here and the team collection is now available. Support your team!
Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
The only thing I know off is that Sky Drop got replaced on mons that carried it (Thundurus or Articuno for instance), because of a glitch that occurs together with Gravity.
EDIT: I am not sure if this actually is true. I read it in several sources, but I believe I actually saw Sky Drop in BW2...
Even with Gravity Zap Cannon is too inaccurate. I think you need at least 60% accuracy in order for a move getting 100% accuracy with Gravity.
As for the Focus Sash on Kingdra: From my experience (in gen 5) it can work over long distances (like 100 battles) that you can sidestep threats by...
I built a team using the Gravity + Sky Drop-glitch. In case you don’t know: If Gravity is used while sth is in the air by Sky Drop, then both mons come down, but the mon that was attacked will not be able to make a move, until the Skyp Drop user leaves the field or uses Sky Drop again. This can...
Overall I guess rain has the potential to meet your goals.
Brief thoughts: Does Toxicroak need so much speed, when 3 of its 4 moves have priority? Is Kingdra fast enough with no speed investment?
Since you mentioned Gravity, maybe this gen5 team may inspire you, as most parts of it can be...
I have not played Trick crippling, but if the speed IVs of your Latias are not worse than 5 then you outspeed base 130s. There is not much faster stuff that does not carry already a choice scarf. So I'd say your Latias is good enough
I think enemy Starmie is really bad and can mow through your team. Chomp with Scarf or Gengar with Sash might hold up against it, a bit. Sadly adamant Choice Scarf Chomp does not kill Starmie guaranteed.
Also enemy Lati@s, as Starmie/Gengar probably cannot OHKO them, but they OHKO your whole team.
Not more experienced, but I a while ago thought about Shiftry with Explosion+FO and some setup, in that case a Drifblim, which can either usw Tailwind, or bring rain or sun, depending on the team. Ok with Shiftry only Tailwind and Sunny Day make sense. If you chose weather, then Weather Ball on...
Thank you for the effort!!!
I think it was fair to include Fluffyflyingpigs streak, and icus probably as well. I found it a bit sad that they were not included in the records on discord, and was about to argue for them, because I believe they are legit.
The records here are not uptodate. There are now streaks that surpassed 1000 wins, the first one occurred 1 or 2 years ago, by Eisenherz.
In this post is a spreadsheet by Meuhforever which I found very useful...
Here is an update to my streak. I am sitting at 1505 battles, ongoing. As far as I know this is world record, albeit no big lead. Since about 200 battles I am using a new Cune genned by oopsgtg – thanks a lot!
I had less close battles, probably because I still improved a bit at playing. Also...
Thunderpunch on Meta does not seem so bad. Without it, it is also walled by waters, which the rest of your team also is not so well equipped against. Maybe you could skip EQ? You already have a strong spread move, and EQs power without any multipliers is quite underwhelming.
Concerning Weavile...
Do you really need Quick Guard on Talonflame? With double Protect you also get around Fake Out from Weavile.
Metagross without Iron Head seems to be very weak. If you are going for priority then maybe Scizor would be the better option? Also you could consider using LO on that slot. And something...
