Made a bit of progress with the Mega Gyarados body. Also made some slight alterations based on new images released.

Is there any way I can put my name down on the spreadsheet beside Mega Gyarados. I assumed it would be done by a superior like Layell. Is this not the case?

Just a quick update on the Mega Gyarados sprite. I probably wont do much more than this until more images are released but until then I'll just keep working with what I've got and see if I can improve on it.

Here's my start on Mega Gyarados. It still requires a lot more fine tuning and a lot of tweaking on the cheek fins but I've got some of the head done. (The red won't be there on the finished product it's just a guideline for me to draw the whiskers)

Okay, I'll start it today. I think the in-game picture is enough to go with for the front sprite but I'll probably hold off for a few days before doing the back sprite if that's okay.

Is eveyone okay if I reserve Mega Gyarados? From what I can see on the spreadsheet it hasn't been started yet. Maybe I'm reading it wrong but if it is free I'll definitely take it. Do you know if Mega Gyarados has been taken yet?
