yeah the recent ban of duggy's ability does free up some electric types, fire types and other miscellaneous pokemon. i see tapu koko's specs and z wild charge sets become better than they were originally. houndoom-mega doesn't get trapped anymore and is boon to stall using taunt and nasty plot...

Diance with these this speed buff has gotten a little better. Its still threatened by most of ubers. It does check pdon mega salamence, zygarde-c , and other pokemon. Its role will be pretty similar to last gen just with the speed buff helping it not require protect.

Ru has been already defensively-oriented so with aurora veil leaving one could assume the more defensive archetypes like balance and stall will return again. These teams have to deal with the new pokemon like zygarde-10% but i'm sure they will adjust in time if they haven't already
