Personally, I think it's going to be translated as grass serpent. That way, they have room to call it a serpent dragon. >_>

I wouldn't be surprised. It's their passion, or at least it should be. They have every right to play and enjoy the game. There are, or at least should be, in-house playtesters, so at the very least they have that.

I don't think Gamefreak checks smogon specifically, seeing as this is an English site. I think that they naturally know what they're doing when it comes to creating powerful Pokemon. They are bound to notice trends and stereotypes. That way, they can build their Pokemon around them.

Now that TMs don't disappear, does that mean we no longer have to worry about HMs? They will essentially serve the same purpose at this point. We've already seen what Flash get downgraded to a TM, and it worked well. It just makes more sense to just classify them all as TMs.

Grass Mixer looks to be specially based though. It will obviously be very fast, however, so wouldn't mind if Tsutarja became a Mixed Sweeper.

Who's to say that a pure dragon type won't evolve into a dragon/bug? There are type changes in evolutions all the time. Pupitar goes from Rock/Ground to Rock/Dark when it evolves, and Dragonair goes from a pure Dragon to Dragon/Flying.

It makes sense to me. Their tusks are their main feature, and they have similar body builds. The only thing that's really throwing me off is the color, but Pokemon can go in all kinds of directions, so I'll disregard it.

I dunno. It was always daytime in RSE, so I felt like the desert was a missed opportunity. I don't think it will necessarily contain ice types, but it could potentially contain ghost Pokemon. Coyotes would be a good idea, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were owls and bats around too, but...

Since there IS going to be a desert and it's assumed that we will have both night and day, does that mean it will get different Pokemon at night? The desert is noticeably colder at night, after all. I wouldn't be surprised if different Pokemon were to come out.
