A tournament schedule that only allows OU to test drops during one month which never happens is a problem I would like to see addressed before the next generation. Solgaleo could have been here and that alters everything else. OU has been way too stagnant to stay interesting, in my opinion.

Just take stored power from magearna. After taking Genesect taking away magearna also will certainly lead to more bans. Not fun! Fun is the stated goal of altering the game further by allowing impossible moves. I'd have maybe even rather seen this game be more pure with only actual obtainable...

Melmetal checks a lot of stuff but doesn't have reliable recovery. Double iron bash has small PP. No ban. Were still changing abilities and figuring out what's good. It's nowhere close enough to settled to worry about banning gluey bulky mons.
