I know what you mean, but his usefulness and overall boost in power in what he could already do really isn't anything special in comparison to the other megas. You could run a choice a one which would be almost as good, and still keep your mega slot open for something even more useful.

It depends on the set, I suppose your right. If it's running a bulky set, those 3 won't be much of a problem, but Wallchomp/TTar will still be problems either way.

Depends on the Pokémon. Scizor got a massive buff... It's one of the best offensive Steel types, one of the only ones as well. And the neutral damage from Ghost and Dark doesn't cripple it's usefulness or nerf it completely, it just balances it. Any offensive Steel type in B/W was a huge threat...
