so if i breed a male protean frogadier with a timid ditto holding an everstone would i get a protean frogadier with the HA and timid???

im really new to IV breeding anyone got any tips? also is it that much better to have a perfect pokemon over a normal fully ev trained pokemon?? also how do u check their IVs when they just hatch....?
