I am playing through platinum, and have hit a bit of a snag, that i can't remember how to get through. i got to vellstone city, and went up to the gym(fighting one) and my rival comes out and talks forever(i stupidly didn't read it, and just pressed a through it thinking it wasn't really...

what ever happened with this, who ended up winning?

i wasn't planning to, also, do i get a prize for being in the final 8, just wondering, for after this is all over.

i have the entire match written up, if enough people care, and syberia approves, i would be happy to post it, it is pretty cool.

yup, it was pretty fun, have to say i thought i would do alot worse, but some nifty predictions, and mispredictions by both of us made the match very entertaining.

i have to finish my early decisiion application for college. i have pm'd articuno a couple times about this, but he seams to feel a need to keep posting which is fine. we'll battle on friday or saturday, just finished battling articuno, i won.

avalanch earth quake has very good coverage, but that set looks ok

for a scarf heatran with neutral nature for speed, should speed ev's be maxed out? or is there a "magic number" that its speed should reach?
