    I wish I had your dedication to train a Shroomish to level 50 odd. I was actually anti Swampbert on the basis he was nearly useless for me against the E4.

    I agree, it makes that one or two uncommon or heaven forbid rare Pokemon that much more special. I must admit after my fifth poochyena I was starting to get a bit disenchanted though.

    Agreed. If you're not prepared for them the admirals Skuntank and Purugly can be a massive threat. I'd say a lot of Nuzlocke deaths can be put down to not knowing what's ahead like that though. My Emerald run finished in the Psychic gym where I made the false assumption that like Ruby/Sapphire...

    A few friendly Emerald related comments. 1. There are two trainers, one in Mt.Pyre and the other in the Mossbridge Gym (I think :/) who have Wobbuffet who were the bane of my challenge. 2. Hope you like Houndeynas :)

    My challenge on Emerald came to a rather brutal and unsatisfying end. Wobbuffet is my new nemesis. Although he may or may not be less annoying than having to capture 5 or 6 Houndeynas :(
