How is being able to remove one pokemon from the opposing team make a pokemon uber? Like, I could use CB metagross and stuff explosion and pursuit on it, but that wouldn't make it uber right?

If you do decide to do that, make sure to switch leftovers to something that doesn't damage/heal latias so that your opponent doesn't see lefties recovery/life orb recoil if u r gonna bluff the scarf

No. Do not do that. First off, Infernape is good because it is a mixed sweeper, and second, Close Combat is an infinitely better attack than Focus Blast due to its accuracy and ability to beat Blissey. No. Focus sash is useless if you have rocks up, so no one uses sashes.
