You should save your battle logs. That way, you can review what your actions were and what you should have done at a specific turn (aka learn from your mistakes). This may seem lousy if you have poor knowledge overall, but you should start putting this as a habit anyways. Doing this also allows you to modify your team better. If your team is doing horrible against a specific Pokemon, replacing one of your current members for a Pokemon who still fits the same role but counters that Pokemon would be advisable.
