Are there any pokemon that have Levitate and learn skill swap? That could be interesting, using Levitate as a penalty to take away a pokemon's terrain buffs. Edit: Apparently there are a few like Bronzong and Claydol.

So you're saying set synchronizer as 1st in party, ko'd or alive, and every ally summoned during the entire battle will be affected by synchronize, but with the nature of whichever pokemon is in 1st slot. So that means whichever pokemon is currently active in battle?

I think misty terrain will be a very popular terrain this VGC. Status immunity will help out alot of aggressive strategies and neuter alot of opposing strategies. Keep your eye on Tapu Fini, I see it having quite a presence this VGC.

Agreed. I was a Talonflame user last gen, but I knew it was broken. I was always looking for oppurtunities to add Rock Slide to pokemon specifically to deal with him. I also agree that Prankster would have been a much better ability if they HAD to replace Levitate for whatever reason, and fits...

Very true. It allows him to benefit from all the nifty terrain buffs, but I think more importantly to Gamefreak, it gives an extra rather common counter with ground type, especially how generously eq is spread around through TM. Edit: Additionally, none of the terrains boost Gengar's STABs, but...

I was hoping for a daycare mechanic that would let me lock in movesets for that exact reason. GF seems to have found an even simpler alternative, not leveling them up at all. Nobody used daycares for that anyway. A very welcome change!
