Yeah, I can see your point of view. 5 turns would bring weather back to almost the gen 5 days, although when teams of different weather compete, I'd expect the orbs to be used up quickly. On the other hand, it might not be so bad to have weather be so prominent.

What if the red orb and blue orb actually had functionality outside of primal Kyogre/Groudon? Red orb: summons harsh sunlight for 5 turns, one-time use Blue orb: summons rain for 5 turns, one-time use New items: White orb (∆): summons hail for 5 turns, one-time use Beige orb (∑): summons...

I don't think it gets reliable recovery unless it transforms into another mon that does. Overall Ubers-worthy in my opinion, even though 100 across the board isn't really good stats anymore in a competitive context. On the other hand, Avalugg with eviolite is almost at Blissey's level in terms...

Another type chart change (semi-joking?) As we currently have it, steel had been significantly nerfed in gen 6, losing resistances to dark and ghost, causing many formerly good mons to plummet in the tiering scale (e.g. Metagross). What if we adjusted the type chart to help balance out this...
  6.  Fakemon Central (read the rules in the OP)

A five stage evolution line: Gender ratio: 1:1, since that makes the most sense Avidet (Scout) Flying/Water hp: 29 atk: 41 def: 19 s-atk: 33 s-def: 33 spd: 71 total: 225 0.6m, 0.8kg, wingspan 0.8m Abilities: Pickup Synchronize Anticipation Very inquisitive, curious and altruistic, while having...
  7. Hypothetical defensively oriented metagame?

Where would this post belong? Maybe Orange Islands? Looking through the forums there doesn't seem to be a place for it.
  8. Hypothetical defensively oriented metagame?

Right now, it seems like the vast majority of power creep in Pokémon is of the offensive variety, with the result that defensive pokémon have typically dropped further in the tiering list than offensive pokémon (e.g. Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie were all OU in gen 4, but in gen 8 Azelf is UU while...
