Ice/Bug is really the only option that I see working. As far as I know, whenever a single-type Pokemon evolves into a dual-type Pokemon the new type is the secondary one, so mono-Bug doesn't work. And mono-Ice just doesn't fit Syclar's design.
I put a wrong number into my calculator when I was doing my totals. Since Syclant's BST is actually 555, then the difference in BSTs is 278, which is still 78 point's higher than than your highest number. After looking over the dual-stage Bug-types the BST difference averages out to about 165...
Everyone seems to be focusing purely on the Bug typing for how Syclar should be, while ignoring Syclant's Ice typing. Since DHR decided to show the BST difference between the Stages of 2 Stage Bug Pokemon, I decided to do the same for 2 stage Ice Pokemon.
