Hi, sup guys, a level 27 newbie here. Just wondering, what's it like when you start playing your placement games in ranked? (Compared to normals?) Is the standard of play generally a lot higher or what?

I was counting on Choice Scarf + EQ + Ice Punch (Zapdos) to handle electrics, I completely overlooked Manetric :P The Castle sounds like fun, I'll try that next since all my 'innovative' pokemon in the hall have failed to crack 170 :(

Lost at 168 with Metagross, Manetric critted with Flamethrower, though I'm not sure it matters since my Meta runs only 80HP evs. I probably should have run FS+BP for the final round, oh well.

Fucking fantastic, I'm astonished at the amount of thought you put into that, tyvm...I have a long way to go before getting to BF deity level. I was interested in going for a long streak with Kingdra but I doubt I could do better than what you did there, and even if I did, it wouldn't feel right...

^Tanner, yawn stalling sounds like a great idea, probably too slow for my tastes though :P How did you beat Tauros? I don't think I've found a way to beat it yet, especially when I have to worry about all the other normal types (too diverse >.>)

Nes, it's probably the cowgirls screwing up your frames by doing quick turns nstead of actual movements along tiles. Normally when it happens, try and resave right when they've finished moving, good luck.

Does the Battle Tower automatically scale your level 50+ pokemon down to Level 50? Say I had a team of a level 100, and two level 50s, would I be battling level 100s or 50s?
