Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Moving NPCs will advance your PIDRNG frame, though I couldn't tell you by how much. With regards to your second question, if you use the same seed, and advance to the same frame, it will always be a female boldore. You'll need to find a different shiny frame that meets your criteria if you...
Just successfully hatched a shiny timid zorua, just wanted to extend my thanks to everyone that helped me and had the patience to answer my questions, and thanks to those who took the time and effort to figure all this out and put this guide together.
Alright so I'm having some issues with breeding shinies with a method 5 standard seed. I've seen people post on here that they are able to breed shinies, but for some reason, my attempts always fail.
Some info:

Out of interest, has anyone managed to breed a shiny egg? I've been trying for a week or so now, with no luck. My problem is this, the list of natures generated under Breeding (BW) don't seem to marry up with the nature sequence I'm getting. For example:
Seed: 8D1336587F1D1A79
Date/Time...
Serious? I'll have to get on that then. Any idea roughly where the egg PID frame starts?
EDIT: Also, if you're breeding, say, a beldum and a ditto, which one is the male and which is the female?
2ND EDIT: Come to think of it, what happens when you breed a ditto with anything? Does the ditto...
I wouldn't waste your time trying to get a shiny egg. The list on breeding (BW) doesn't correlate to the actual sequence of natures/inheritance you get from hatching eggs.
Very bizarre. I just re downloaded RNG reporter to see if that makes a difference. Where does the program store its preferences? Going to try starting completely fresh with it.
EDIT: Never mind. After downloading the program again, it has found that particular seed. Problem solved it seems ^^
Alright, now I'm really confused. Just as a test, I opened up my time finder and put in some search criteria that I know will throw up a result, because it always has in every previous release of RNG reporter.
DS Parameters:
GxStat: 6

Interesting, I recalibrated just to be sure, calibration came out exactly the same. If my target frame is 7 on a standard seed, does that mean I still need 6 advances to get to that?
It seems v6 is the one with the error in searching for seed searching and wild shiny PIDs. Every single seed I've searched and tried to hit with v6 has been wrong
