Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
I haven't played SV OU in a while and don't have any consensus on Archaludon, neither do I know the full extent of Archaludon's abilities (correct me on this one then), but I think Duraludon being better than or as good as Archaludon is straight up nonsense. Sure, Eviolite is a straight upgrade...
Just wanted to make a short post about how people react to drops. I'm not going to go too in depth into the metagame since this is moreso general and isn't only about this gen's OU or even OU at all. Feel free to correct me if I get anything wrong.
No, when Pokemon drop to lower tiers, they do...
Not gonna comment on the bans but is it just me or did Moutemoute mean to vote DNB on Ceruledge? I looked at the reasoning and it didn't seem to line up with a Ban vote.
I think if a Pokemon got banned before the DLC came out and then got unbanned, then the Pokemon would have a better case of being banned again under the impression that "nothing has changed since last time it was legal" being a more solid argument.
Sorry for asking, but why is Toxapex in A+? I feel like it really struggles with competition with Slowking-G, which is generally stronger and has a better set of moves that allow it to pivot and be more flexible, alongside Slowking-G stealing a lot of momentum away from it. I don't doubt that...

Here's a funny set I've been running. It's not very good, but the spin being unstoppable makes it a fun way to beat sticky...
Just theorymonning, this is probably not good and I'm probably not using the best set either for it but it looks funny.
Skeledirge (Primeape) @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rage Fist
- Drain Punch
- Slack Off / Taunt

"Manaphy" - Manaphy is a good Pokemon, but it requires setup to be truly unwallable and even then struggles to find moveslots for the right coverage moves. Besides, its middling speed meant it was very much possible to counterplay with faster offensive Pokémon.
"Lure sets" - Lure sets require...
