    Okay, so before I mess up my EV training: I go into a battle, leading with my level 10 Sneasel with Pokerus and Power Bracer. I'm fighting the guy with three lvl 30 Gyarados'. So, when I switch Sneasel out for Pokemon x and beat Gyarados 1, I'll get 4 attack EV's from the Gyarados and 8 attack...

    Okay so I've Leafgreen and RSE and Pearl...I'm now considering getting another pokemon game. I lost my Leafgreen, so the choices are Platinum and Firered/Leafgreen. Which would you choose, on a whim?

    Try your game a few more times, it may have been a temporary glitch. But if it occurs again and again then you'll have to take it back and tell the people who sold you it that it doesn't work.
