Yeah it's unique as it can pull off a variety of sets and each one is used in a different way, but accomplishes the same overall goal; destroy much of the opposing team. It's why Mega Charizard X is one of the greatest OU Pokemon.

If we're weighing opportunity cost Mega Gyarados should not be S rank, that's much too high and A+ is a possibility but given Mega Charizard X performs similarly but faster and harder, I don't really think it's worthy of such a rank.

There are counters to Megagross and he suffers from slight 4MSS and has no recovery. Don't get me wrong it's definitely one of the best OU megas due to superb offenses and defenses, with added speed, but it is not the best in the tier.

This is literally the EXACT reason it isn't S Rank. And while I do love Megagross and adore its sheer power and bulk, there's just some things that hold it back from being truly S rank worthy. A+ from me as well.

This is so conflicting man, I don't know what to really side with but after reading that I'm pretty convinced that Megagross probably isn't an S Rank Pokemon. It's so close to being one but it just isn't quite there.

I think that Megagross should remain A+ for now. Don't get me wrong, it has great bulk and some monstrous offenses with a relatively good speed. The problem here is that it cannot really take advantage of both its attack and speed like some other offensive sweepers (CharX, Megados, Megataria)...
