Haha, amazing read. I follow all the rules but I can't encourage you more to follow rule #3. I've attended to 8 events and there are always people who don't follow this rule at all. It's really disgusting, and more if you are waiting on the queue...

It should be legal but I don't like to take risks at all and even less if it is something as insignificant and no-battle related like a nickname. In the worst case scenario, if they tell you it is hacked you can explain what you did and if the referee is knowledgeable there shouldn't be any...

They have released the results of the 2012 Japan Spring Cup. I don't know how many people qualify for the Japan Nationals though. Btw, I've placed a modest 1018 th with 1614 points in very few battles, I didn't want to screw anybody, just watching some japanese stuff.
