Baton Pass is far from the status quo. However, we should use the same guidelines for a suspect that we use for every other problem. If any aspect of Baton Pass is a problem, and if a cap is necessary on the amount of Pokémon with Baton Pass, it should be based on the guidelines we have established.

This is not the point of the thread. The point is to look for a balance, not to make an entire playstyle un-viable simply because people don't like it and refuse to adapt. Baton Pass as is is beatable, and this has been proven many times in the thread with well thought-out posts.

I don't think so, but I can test it simply by removing Scolipede and replacing him with something else. Also, though Soundproof is Mr. Mime's main niche, it isn't very useful as long as Espeon is alive. So Mr. Mime and Espeon, in a sense, are redundant.
