That's interesting because I'm having the exact opposite experience. The hit detection is good, almost as good as MW2's was. My connections are consistently 4 bar except when someone on my floor has a wireless printer running.

I don't think they're overpowered. They're good due to the cramped spaces and tight corridors these maps bring with them, but there are definitely scenarios where a rifle is the best thing to have.

I just got home from Best Buy with a copy and I cannot contain my joy. I did my best to not get spoiled about any detail, large or small, as I couldn't pick up the game the day it arrived. Hopefully I can bang out the campaign this weekend and then not have to worry about going on YouTube lol...

Nice job on the MOAB! Yeah extended mags makes every shot fire 1.5x as many pellets, which makes them like actually good lol.

Haha, dang, who knew the AA-12 would make a comeback. My shotgun of choice is the Model, but I agree with all of your points. Shotguns seem to me like high risk high reward weapons in this game, as at their range they wreck, but that range is kind of limited now.

Don't worry about being flamed here, we're all civilized! But I kind of agree with you about smgs being tougher to use, mostly because of the damage drop off at a range. The MP5, for example, goes from a 3 hit to a 5 hit in like 9 meters. What I find is helpful for that situation is the range...
