Their designs are different enough from each other that, despite "Three" being in the group's name, it wasn't until after I beat the story that I realized that they count as a legendary trio. Also I like that they unintentionally line up with three of the most common archetypes for high school...

I think it's always been the case that if two of the same Pokemon know the same level up move, the offspring will too. But yeah it's really frustrating I can't teach Spore to the Breloom I brought over from Ruby, especially since Sword and Shield did a pretty good job of letting evolutions...

Their Pokedex category is "Retainer Pokemon" so that makes sense they'd have a leader. Also their dex entries (at least for Scarlet) mention how the Toxic Chain amplified their powers so I feel like there might be some lore with their leader giving them the chain or something

In hindsight, I guess a Dipplin evo makes sense given that (story spoilers)
