Oh, I just dabble in Java in my spare time slowly teaching myself. I wouldn't be able to implement all the complex math, I was just curious. It's not a large concern at any rate, as most Mac users probably run a copy of Windows in some form or another.

I'm not too concerned with moves as I now know how to change those, but it's the missing Griseous Orb (ok, so no loss there) and Shaymin-s and Rotom-a (these are a problem) that concern me.

Changing moves and abilities is surprisingly simple, as Colin posted in my topic: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54134 Adding Pokemon and items is probably something totally different, but that covers changing existing Pokemon.

Oh, it appears that this server is not for Platinum. Is there any way to fix that or can custom servers be D/P only?

I figured out how to add moves (eg. Move, Flareon, Flare Blitz) but that's about it. If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm fixing Flareon and it's too damn slow. Garchomp and Skymin will also enjoy a nice base speed drop down to 100 and 120, respectively.

The church in Hearthome has no background music, but that's a complicated solution to just...counting. You'd need a male to male cable for the line out/in ports, whatever size those are. I want to say 3.5mm, but I'm not sure.

Both of my IDs are odd and I only get even delays, but I don't think there is any significance in that. I just happen to mash A and get even delays.

You don't need to switch to it, but you MUST switch away from the happiness checker.

Calibrate shmalibrate. The offset's 8! It's 5! 7! It's bad enough when you have to change the date and the offset changes, but it could at least stay the same.

I personally find it easier to time the seconds if I start from the DS menu, but that's just me.

That is an excellent idea. I waited an extra second and my offset was 27, yikes. I really need it to be stable at 6 though, because a really good spread for my parents appears there at 02:03:14 April 1 with a delay of 622. I could search for a new one I suppose, but first I should verify that...
