  1. If Heracross just died..

Gliscor never even has Thunder Fang. I've battled about 15 over wifi, and they've *all* had Roost / Knock Off or Stealth Rock / EQ / Aerial Ace. Knock Off / Stealth Rock is the only move I ever see interchanged for anything. The other 3 moves are on each and every one that I've faced. I use...
  2. If Heracross just died..

Pokemon who don't attack get swept up like a joke though, Gyarados comes oout and cleans up your whole team. Gyarados is basically always a safe switch in on Gliscor anyway..
  3. If Heracross just died..

My Machamp has Ice Punch.. Gliscor just isn't worth it really, since it doesn't do a whole lot of damage, isn't particularly fast either, and has basically caused no problems for me at all to battle against.. :/
  4. Are IVs really worth the effort?

Just buy an AR for the DS, and keep your stats legit. At least it lets you kinda have a life sorta thing (not trying to insult anyone). I used to hatch dudes but after like a month of hatching, and not finding good pokemon, or deciding I don't want to use one of them anyway, I figured the...
  5. If Heracross just died..

Against Garchomp he's smashed by Draco Meteor.. I realize he can baton pass stuff, and his defence is pretty good.. but that's about where it ends. You're lucky if he isn't just Ice Beamed though, I had a Tyranitar Ice Beam mine, so I was like.. "well wtf is the point in Gliscor if they don't...
  6. If Heracross just died..

..would Gliscor *ever* be used? It basically doesn't pack much of a hit, gets pwnt by everything not called Heracross, and when your opponent doesn't even HAVE Heracross, Gliscor is just a liability.. it uses Knock Off.. then does jack all damage with EQ/Aerial Ace, and uses Roost, which...
  7. Suicide Blitz (Non-Damage Suicide Moves Discussion)

I just tested this and Healing Wish kills you, then does it's thing. Doesn't work like Destiny Bond, Serebii should take out that "if", eh?
  8. Where's the love for Shedinja?

I like Sheddy he's fun to use and can pwn off teams when you bring him out at the right time. I'm planning on a putting one in a Rain Dance team since he basically covers the weaknesses well. Kingdra is a force to be reckoned with when it's raining and he resists fire x4 (but in a rain dance...
  9. Following in the footsteps..

It says Snorlax > Charmander > Salamence. So it's probably right.
  10. Thought on extra heracross counters

I use Toxicroak as my Heracross switch in... works excellently - Close Combat actually doesn't do as much as some people think it does when resisted, lol. He takes like nothing from Megahorn too, lol. Too bad he can't Aerial Ace.
  11. Tips for team synergy

I usually use novelty teams. I have a rain dance team, sunny day team, hail team, sand storm team and a trick room team. I plan on branching out to more standard looking teams soon but all my teams so far work decently. I like to make use of pokemon who usually suck aswell, hence Froslass in...
  12. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer.

Timid Porygon-Z? Nah, Modest all the way. He's too slow even with Timid so why not just go Modest?
  13. The Mixed Sweeper

It could still pull off the whole "physical and special sweeper using same element" thing though.
  14. The Mixed Sweeper

Charizard and Infernape might be able to pull it off decently..
  15. Are Standard teams better or "strategy" teams better?

Teams with actual strategies are much harder to execute properly, as someone who knows what you are doing, can most likely screw over your whole strategy with a single move/pokemon, Baton Pass teams for instance, a dude with Roar (besides when Mimes out), is pwnt by Roar/Whirlwind.. I screw...
