First lets discuss that my avatar wins in terms of FSRPM (Finger Spinning Rounds per Minute). Anyways, I completely agree. I don't think Growlithe is very viable and there are other options for intimidate if that is what you want the Growlithe for.

I think that Growlithe with Will-O-Wisp is really hard to pull off since it is basically a slightly weaker version of Larvesta, both having the same base speed, but Larvesta having better Def and Sp Def. Ponyta definitely has great speed, but it doesn't have a movepool as good as Misdreavus who...
