Hmm, considering using WillOwisp instead of roost, given the leftovers factor I currently give my talonflame. Can anyone care to explain the strategic pros and cons of this? Because Talonflames aren't really meant for their longevity in battles anyway.

But seeing Zoroark in the team preview wouldn't that just lead to the opponent using an attack that would counter Dark types and hit Gal's type for neutral damage at least? Figure even a neutral attack will bring it down to 1 hp.

His weakness is predictability; like everyone who sees the team preview will know hes the lead. Then again, he has a sash so he can lay the sticky web, take the hit to 1 hp, and then switch out.

Would you recommend EVs like 252 Atk and 128 Spd, 128 HP? Or all Speed?

Having a item and acrobatics kinda work against eachother. Ideally, the Choice Band works best as you hit first and hard. Switch out, and then come back in when your opponent gives you an opportunity to roost back up. Switch out and come back in for another attack, and so forth. Or leftovers...

I put power-up punch in place of bulk up. Defense is high enough as is and momentum stays in your favor.

For most of those pokes it would be more tactical to just switch out then face them head on. Can always build up leaf storm stats again. And HP fire can be easily taught to someone else. But hey, to each their own.

Think Giga Drain, Leaf Storm, Dragon Pulse, and HP Rock (since it covers all its weaknesses) are more suited to its ability. Once its checks are out, it can sweep with giga drain for added insult to injury. Also slap on a focus sash for pesky talonflames. But since it is only available in...
