  1. Other Subtle but important nerfs

Ghost may really prove to be a stronger offensive type. After all dark is much poorer as a defensive type than steel. Its just that the dragon types are often much bulkier and hit harder than most ghosts. Gengar and Aegislash are the only two offensive ghosts running around, while there are...
  2. Other Subtle but important nerfs

There has been a lot of talk that dragons are gonna be hit hard by the fairies, but aren't they still able to wreck havoc on anything that doesn't resist it? Teams that want to use dragons just have to find a way to cover their weakness to fairy and once the other team has lost its fairies they...
  3. Conkeldurr has a Funny Name: OU Offensive Team

BUMP made some changes to specific pokemon as well as swapping out metagross for mienshao
  4. Conkeldurr has a Funny Name: OU Offensive Team

Hey guys!! So this is my second 5th gen team, and my attempt to stray away from sandstorm completely. I think of this team as a sort of bulky offense (with Conkeldurr representing that well, hence the title), as 4 of my pokemon can force a very power sweep when my opponents team is weakened...
  5. Sandstorm Team = WINNING!

I think that reuniclus set is just what my team needed. He covers conkeldurr and it actually is quite easy to find opputunities to set up, as he is quite physically bulky. I have yet to try the gengar set but in the past he hasnt let me down so ill test that soon too. Thx ToastTyrant13!
  6. First Competitive Team

I would recommend a Choice Scarf on Hydreigon, as you are running dracometeor, and his speed isnt tooo great. Your moveset also seems geared toward choice as well.
  7. Sandstorm Team = WINNING!

Hello everyone! This is my first 5th gen team and i have been testing it on PO for about a week so now I would like some help from the community to help me make this team better. THE TEAM So my team is a Sandstorm Team (obvs) but also is a semi stall team. I pretty much just try to use...
  8. Which aspect of Dragons is more broken: Pokémon or Moves?

i think that the dragon type itself is more broken, cause no other types resist it except steels, causing the moves to have a bigger impact on the metagame. Because the dragon type is so dominant, most teams will have a steel type to take these attacks or will carry a dragon of their own. The...
  9. Lesson one: Fear!

with infernape u should definitely change it to the set Bad Ass suggested, as mixed metagross can take down walls anyway. your jirachi lead does come as a surprise, but most faster leads carry taunt, so there is a chance u could be KO'ed by an aerodactyl or something. But this is just something...
  10. Rate My Team

Even if you dont replace arcanine, giving him a band will hamper his ability to sweep if u decide to baton pass to him. Or you could switch to a sweeper that can use extra speed, like rhyperior. rhyperior is handy as takes all of the moves aimed at ninjask and can use the extra speed and power...
  11. Team LUCAMAN - Offensive Team

As the name suggests, my team is based on Lucario as the primary sweeper. My pokes help me take down its counters so lucario may sweep down teams. The other offensive threats aim to take advantage of lucarios resistances for another possible sweep. So hers my team. Team Building Process I...
  12. Rate My Team

Having a Baton Passer as a lead is great but passing curse isn't. The speed drop from curse won't help electivire, as its aim is to receive a boost in speed and start sweeping. Ninjask would make a great lead, as it can pass swords dance to electivire, or you could opt for stealth rock support...
  13. OU RMT

@ symphonyx64- thanks 4 the salamence advice i had never really considered skarmory wen making this team @ vashta- i can see seismic toss being effective on blissey but for starmie i needed more off a revenge killer but thanks anyway @ The Swamp- other than the shared ice weakness with...
  14. OU RMT

Hey everyone. I'm new to competitive battling and would appreciate some input on my team. After re-working my team a couple times and testing it out on battles i decided to get some advice before i get too confident of my team. My team is a fairly balanced team focusing on using walls early on...
