I'm thinking about centering a team around one pokemon, but i'm not sure which one, and i dont want it to be a bad choice, since i'm basically catering the movesets, items, and EVs around it. So what are some good ideas for a central pokemon?

So you guys don't think gatr is gonna jump very far up? idk, i think it would be cool if he gave gyrados some competition.

Alright, so this is beside the point of what you guys are talking about, but which Pokemon do you guys think have the biggest chance of moving up to OU? I'm new, so if this is a weird question or has already been asked, sorry.
