Hmm...Has anyone tried leading with a Synchronize pokemon against Mesprit/Cress when encountering them in the grass for the first time? I'd assume that the game calculates what the wild pokemon's stats and nature are when you fight it, not when you talk to it and set it loose...

Hey, I was wondering if D/P has someone who can give you a rough estimate of your Poke's IVs, like the guy in the Battle Frontier of Emerald. I've reached all the major towns in my game and nothing's shown up...PLEASE tell me they didn't remove him, because I found him very handy in weeding out...

I was JUST looking into a Breloom to help me take care of my CBvile/Tar problems, and your last set just gave me the answer. Breloom is one of my faves from the 3rd Gen, and it's a shame that he gets overlooked in favor of Heracross some of the time.

^Heh, that's the exact Pory I've been using since FR/LG! Though my EVs are a bit different, the idea's the same. He's great, and gets even better this generation with the countering possibilities. PZ is amazing in his own way of course. The two just fill such different roles. I like P2's role...

In the third generation metagame, it seemed like everyone and their grandfather used Focus Punch on all sorts of stuff. Snorlax, Heracross, Breloom, Gengar...You get the idea. It's a fabulous move just MADE for prediction. But from all of the RMTs I've seen of late, there's no sign of Focus...

I'd be careful with three Fighting-weak Pokes and no resists to it. Also, it seems some of your pokemon overlap in usefulness; your Tauros and Mamoswine are almost exactly alike in terms of what they do (life orb sweep, and they even share Earthquake/Rockslide) so boot one and keep the other.
