    I know, but they could just block anything that doesn't exist in B/W (an ability, and whatever Poke has said ability). And allow whatever is new just between B/W2. They've done something similar before with G/S and Platinum...

    No. 2 may be possible. Platinum introduced forms which weren't compatible with D/P. I don't see why they couldn't do the same with an ability.
