I'm not sure if there will be an official response to this thread or if this is considered a closed case already, but while we are waiting to see, I want to add two points of feedback that I think would help handling cases like this in the future. First, I think demotes should be treated less...

I hate Pokemon Showdown

Not confirming, I'm not interested in this, sorry...

If you manage to get locked you probably don't care that much about being nice to people on Showdown. This would just be used by people to be even more annoying after getting locked and we don't want to add a ton of buttons in the interface for things that aren't truly useful.
