  1. Defeating the demon known as Laziness.

I'd peg that as Sci-Fi but like the rest of Rand's stuff, it's a social commentary deal. I'm basing this off the Amazon plot summary I read, but it sounds a little bit like Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, so you may want to give that a look. That, and George Orwell's 1984. Again, I'm not...
  2. Defeating the demon known as Laziness.

Out of curiosity, what kind of books are you trying to read? I consider myself a pretty avid reader, but I'm a bit ashamed to say that my library isn't exactly academic; what I'm trying to say is that reading comes naturally to me because I know the kind of thing I love to read. Find out what...
  3. Anyone here play World of Warcraft?

http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dark+Iron&n=Cragnus http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dark+Iron&n=Zoto I'm on a WoW vacation right now... I canceled my account a couple months ago cause the game was getting stale and boring for me, but you know what they say... "They...
  4. Desert Land - A Sandstorm team that needs some help

Thanks for the suggestion; I think that'll actually work really well even outside of being a Suicune counter, seeing as my team is predominantly physical attackers. I kind of hate Magnezone's aesthetics, at least compared to Magneton, but I know that's a mindset I need to get out of if I want to...
  5. Desert Land - A Sandstorm team that needs some help

As I'm pretty new to the competitive scene, a Sandstorm team, to me, seemed like a good way to go for beginners. I've been casually running this on Shoddy with some decent success; I win a good deal more than I lose, but I still have a fundamental flaw I'd like to fix and maybe get some help...
  6. Pokemon that should(n't) have (pre)-evolutions

Amen. Whenever this discussion comes up, Kangaskhan is my first thought. I can't believe it's even got this far without one. I mean, how does it even make sense that when you hatch one, you get two Pokemon for the price of one (not to mention the blatantly obvious age difference between the two)?
  7. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer - mark 7 (read first post)

If you were to breed two hacked Pokemon, would the resulting egg also be considered a hack, or would it be considered legit at that point?
  8. I have noticed....

I don't speak for others, but I personally prefer to battle over my DS than my computer. Hence, while I plan on getting Competitor when it's released, I'll always prefer using my DS or Wii, with my hacked Pokemon of course. Coming from the perspective of a hacker, I think it's a really...
