Why are so many analyses written talking about doubles strategies? I read a bunch of analyses on the main site and I'm like oh... they're talking about doubles... and I never clicked anything about doubles/VGC, just plain old OU analyses... E.g. Kyurem Black...

Hi, This is like the only thread that's open in Battling 101 so I'm confused as to where I'm supposed to sign up for a tutor? I think I'm interested.

I don't know if this is the right place to post it, but why are the Analyses so different this Gen than from the past? Ignoring the new layout and things like that (because I know those may not be final), but I feel like the analyses are more "dumbed down" than they were in general. Saying...

Honesty is good. It's FINE and GOOD to say that a Pokemon is not viable in the metagame because of x y z reasons, etc. But just saying over and over again that it's useless and crappy and needs too much support—without giving concrete reasons, is not helping anyone get better. Written in a very negative and sarcastic way, throughout literally all of the analysis, to the point where it is not informative and just annoying. Eg, "can't KO anything," "can't KO them," ... And then when it actually can KO something (Jolteon), you simply write "hits Jolteon." It does more...

Still not able to access Showdown. Just about ready to give up. Hopefully it works for me elsewhere in the world, maybe Texas is just stupid.

Suicune- 100/115/115 Slowbro- 95/110/80 Milotic- 95/79/125 It is outclassed, but so is most everything else in C/D, that's the point as I see it. Marvel Scale brings Milotic's defense higher than both Slowbro and Suicune, which makes Rest Milotic fairly bulky, although it is still outclassed...

Milotic should be included on this thread, imo, especially with the slight increase in usage. Maybe C/C-... definitely should be at least on D-list though.

Bump! Uploaded a full list of a bunch of replays. Will get some more Water and Fairy replays when I can, as those are some that I have big problems with. But just thought it would make it more complete to see (and also think it would be nice to just keep them here for reference!)

Thanks for the reply. The first link works but it just brings me to the main site where I need to choose a server. If I choose the Smogon server, it just loads forever and says "connecting." Same thing happens with the other link except it says "connecting" in a different spot. I waited for more...

OK, really? It's been 4 weeks since I've been able to get on. What am I supposed to do? Getting pissed off.

It looks like there might not be people here to reply to these concerns? This thread just seems to be mostly people who cannot access Showdown. I've been unable to get on for over 2 weeks now :(... Tried everything...
