I think it's weird that Snarl and Parting Shot are sound-based moves, but Taunt isn't.

I like that Pokémon who are famously bad can become good with new gameplay mechanics. For example: Terastallization made Meganium decent in Gen 9.

The Serperior line looked really cool, but in Pokémon Black, I ended up not even using my starter to beat the Elite Four.

Jun'ichi and Kris should have been in HeartGold and SoulSilver. A battle would have been nice or even just a little cameo..
