Lucario is just going to struggle in Ubers... It's going to eventually be phased out and never used. Which is a shame as it can be a good Pokemon in the right situation... It just doesn't have the bulk to set up :/

The general discussion is all Genesect sets. Just that particular discussion was about mainly the Choice Scarf one.

I'm sorry but your arguement is flawed. You said that a lot of Pokemon that aren't scarfed get beaten by Lucario, but then said that Pokemon that are scarfed can beat Genesect. Your logic therefore dictates that Pokemon that aren't scarfed will also be beaten by Genesect, but Scarfed Pokemon...

I might consider that. I was just against a friend who managed to beat my Lucario using a Tailwind Talonflame and Earth Power Nidoking. Bloody thing dropped like a fly.

That's strange then because literally every post I see is Genesect should remain in OU, whilst Lucario should be uber. I think it should be the complete opposite as Lucario can be OP, but it can be stopped.

The same arguement can be applied to Genesect. I don't understand how anyone can deny it's brokenness, unless they use it themselves and like the fact they generally win all the time.

I sure hope this things gets put to Uber. It is a pain to deal with even with Talonflame, especially if they've got them rocks up. In the last couple of battles I've had, I've faced it and generally had to rely on luck, or good planning to take this thing down.

Yeah, but that's the issue I see. Most people claiming checks for Genesect and such, can probably also deal with Lucario. And also, those checks run risk of being outsped by Genesect, which can quite clearly happen, being eliminated, thus giving way for Genesect to sweep. I know my team is not...

I find it funny all those complaining that Mega Lucario should be banned and Genesect shouldn't. Mega Lucario is far easier to deal with than Gensect. Personal opinion is that Mega Lucario should remain OU, Genesect goes Uber, Deoxys-S goes OU.
