I don't think names with Lava in it quite fit with this guy, I think it should relate to fire rather than lava, even because lava is actually molten rock so... yeah I don't really think it fits. My contribution will be Timberex (Timber+Rex)

I once again prefer Wyverii's sprites on the matter of the back pose. I believe what's happening is that everyone is so overexcited by the looks of this pokemon ("ooooh look at the fiery holes on its back") that they forgot about the consistency on the sprites. The backpose is supposed to mime...

I've been viewing this thread since it began and only now felt the need to reply here. I sincerely think that right now superiority is clear, and it is Wyverii's sprite that has the lead. Now for defending my point, firstly assuring you all that I'm trying a completely constructive approach...

So, I've been messing around in the paint and found out it's not very hard to make fusions after u learn how to use some of the tools... My first work u can see in my Avatar, I had fun doing it. I still gotta learn more on the shading department though, I just changed a bit of the original...

Hey, these are not requests, just ideas, if anyone feels like doing any of them I'll apreciate it: A Claydol with Slowbro's tail shell on it's head, kinda like those birthday pointy hats, if done with claydol's DP sprite, it will look somewhat like a drilling thing! A Toxicroak with his croaking...
