Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Aw for a second I thought I discovered a Gen 6 change that would let Ditto outspeed everything while still carrying Life Orbs :P
That said I personally think the inclusion of Megas and allowing Ditto to transform into them definitely is a Gen 6 buff to Ditto. I'm considering running one to...
I keep reading that Breloom was nerfed. Is there anything I missed besides:
Low Sweep doesn't work with Technician
Spore doesn't work on grass, and sleep mechanics changed anyway
Because he seems like he's still worth training up. Got a friend with a Breloom safari and I always liked him as a...
Apparently all of these moves change what Nature Power turns into, which is now a TM. Still gimmicky but it's sort of funny to see a Moonblast come out of a Venasaur.
I can't find a place that goes over the changes Substitute went through... I thought there would be a new thread on it. Can someone summarize how it was nerfed?
Edit: It was in this OP

Substitute no longer...
His Outrage is a bit stronger than Garchomp's. Dragonite actually has better Attack and Special Attack than Garchomp, as well as more Defense and Special Defense (balanced out by Garchomp's HP, though)
That Speed on Garchomp kills it though. I wonder how a Choice Scarf Outrage Dragonite would fare.
My team is Rhyperior@Leftovers, Togetic@Lum Berry and Ludicolo@Big Root (stupid item clause)
Rhyperior takes Physical attacks with no problem, Togetic and Ludicolo switch in to special attacks and heal it up easily. Ludicolo has Surf as his only attack. I'd say my team is pretty defensive and...
I think too many people are ignoring Wake Up Slap on one of the few Pokemon that can make good use of it. On a Spore'd Pokemon, it has the same power as Focus Punch, and it stops Pokemon who switch in thinking they can set up an easy Sleep Talk.
The best thing about Roselia is the element of surprise it carries. You don't know whether it's going to seed your switch, use Aromatherapy, or change the weather and suddenly make switching in that fire a bad choice.
Does this set actually work? (It will always switch between Ghost and Normal, without for example picking Normal twice?) Because if so that's a very cool use of Adaptability.
Haha "just" :P
It's a massive boost. Alakazam's Psychic with STAB is weaker than Tri Attack with STAB and Adaptability. Return, even off of base 80 attack, can deal very good damage to a Blissey with STAB+Adaptability.
I'm definitely going to have a PorygonZ floating around.
I actually like this change. I play mostly UU anyhow so Tyranitar won't be setting up the Sandstorm, Hippowdon probably will, and Probopass will be a great Special wall.
Edit: And if anything this makes Gyarados more of a giant asshole (The boost doesn't affect Waterfall)
