All this talk makes me think that Tapu Bulu would make a great partner for Xurkitree. Bulu can tank most of Xurk's counters with ease while making him less vulnerable to the weaker ground attacks + boosting his Energy Ball thanks to Grassy Terrain.

Well, as I understand it, it's based on the actual stats, so yes, which means it would also take the previous boosts into account.

Merciless is kind of a wasted ability on a pokemon with these stats and movepool, but I expect the Regenerator variant to be seen a lot once it comes out.

Well, adding the Ghost type to the target would mean that it could now escape from trapping abilities, so I don't think it would be viable.

It's still very telling to see that Mega Aggron can almost take a +2 Life Orb Boosted 120BP super-effective move from one of the most terrifying sweepers of Gen V's meta. I think he's going to work very well.

Got a Floette with Symbiosis as an ability in Friend Safari ! Apparently it's a multi ability which let allies pokemon use the item Floette is holding. Could be interesting in duo/triple.
