I use Avast and this worked for me even though Avast was still running, btw how do I check an egg's shiny IV? >.>

Finally got mine to work...it was a simple matter of installing WinPCap >.> *facepalm*

Got it to connect to my PC's hotspot and the internet works with it but there's nothing in the dropdown box above the 'start scanning' button (it's just a blank box) within instacheck and it doesn't display any stats of any pokemon or my SV even if I click on the start scanning button...
