I think it just means that it will be released at the same time in every country, rather than the separate Japanese and non-Japanese release dates they used to have. Not sure why they had to mention that, though, they've been operating on single release dates for years now.

It hasn't been released in SV yet, only appearing in Legends: Arceus (which is technically Gen 8). Until Home drops, it's only legal in NatDex formats, since it's currently not obtainable in any flagship main-series game (e.g. SV, SS, etc.).

I think that refers to the move Sandstorm, rather than the weather condition we call "sandstorm". The effects aren't a move, so I doubt it would activate Brambleghast's ability; it would just be activated by the setting of manual Sandstorm, since that requires the move Sandstorm to be used.

I agree, and that's why I think ranked-choice voting with 3+ options (likely full ban, no action, type preview, and one or two others) is the way to go. It seems likely we can't get the majority to favor one option, but it'd be good to come to a result most are at least okay with.

Transfer moves are no longer a thing. Transferred mons get their moves replaced with level-up moves (so no No Guard Fissure Machamp and Technician Curse Scizor)

Yeah, I reset. I've only played two games on the new alt (same team as before), but I did win both, so that's a good start

Interesting, I didn't think of changing teams part of the way through. On my first alt, I used a balance team, but I only went 22-15 with it and, after others' suggestions, reset with a new alt. You're definitely right about low ladder (a low-ladder like me had to get to 11-1 somehow), but yeah...
