So, uh, what does it mean if I can't match the pitch I'm hearing to any of the ones listed in the main window? Should I move on to another seed?

Thanks for the advice. I've never had any trouble with starting frames till I upgraded to 9.96.5 beta... So do I just use Chatot after hitting the seed, and then try to find its pitch in the main window of the Reporter? Not at all familiar with using pitches to find frames, sorry.

I'm trying to breed a shiny in my Black Version for a friend, but I can't find the shifted starting frame for some reason. Every seed I hit is completely different from what the Reporter says it should be, and I couldn't find any matches using the adjacent seed tool either. I know my DS...

Oops, looks like it wasn't set to 1/1 after all. It's been a while since I RNG'd anything, and evidently I don't remember as much as I thought... Thanks for pointing that out!

Okay... I set the timer0 min to C7A and the max to C7F on the adjacent seed tool, but was unable to find a match for that specific seed. Guess I should check some of the other seeds I tried as well? I’m sure I entered everything correctly—I double-checked the parent IVs, made sure the Ditto...
