Kugawattan

Hello, I'm a novice competitive player, known as Kugawattan on the internet. You might know me from YouTube as a Garry's Modder and my videos about Team Fortress 2.

I've been a fan of Pokémon since the early days of Red and Blue. I only took one break after Emerald due to the childish reason of "There are too many Pokémon!", and came back on HG/SS games, and been attached to the series ever since.

Now, while I really love the games, I can't stand some other media, such as the anime or the various manga designed after the franchise.

I've always understood the basics of Pokémon battling. However, having no idea of IVs and EVs and generally being scared of cometitive play in general, only at late Generation VI I've started getting into this, mostly due to the lack of postgame.

Surprisingly, I now feel very comfortable playing competitively, and more or less know what to do in most situations. However, I opted to use Smogon rules as I too considered too uncompetitive to use certain Pokémon like Mega Kangaskhan or certain strategies like evasion spam.

I came here in order to (rock) polish the skills I've accumulated.

My first true competitive team looked like this, that was before the Aegislash ban.

However, I'm now sporting a Mega Gallade team I've just recently started to use.
